Disturbing doesn't begin to cover it. I think I focused on them first, at least seven, then drew Soren's and Reive's attentions to them more clearly (we were all talking), and as we drew nearer, at least another five or six ran across the sidewalk in front of us.
At that point I shrieked, and headed out into the street.
