So...is there anything to some claims that basketball (in particular but not exclusively) is becoming a very 'thug' game? I mean, hockey is famous for brawls but I don't hear about hockey fans having this kind of donnybrook. Baseball has bench clearing brawls once in awhile but that rarely has anything to do with the fans. American Football can have some rough crowds (Philadelphia, Oakland) but still don't recall this level of rivalry. And what about soccer? All we tend to hear about is the violence from hooligan fans, be they in Europe or South America.
I don't think so, but I've only done one class, so I don't know where it goes from there. Certainly what they are doing seems to make sense, but it doesn't look, from what I can see on the site that it's related to sabre work in the same way. But dude, still, more of that, yay.
Oh my god that's terrifying. And on the day I *left* Manahttan, too. I hope she's okay. I know I wouldn't be after witnessing gunshots being fired and being pushed into a subway.
I echo the poster above who thanked the Lord we don't have scary soccer fans here.
