I found myself feeling the same way, which is kind of bizarre considering that I loved 28 Days Later right up until the ending which made me more than a little angry (http://hangedwoman.livejournal.com/42567.html).
I'm not. But I love end of the world stuff. I mean stuff witht he starkest darkest choices imaginable. 28 Days Later does that and happens to also have some very human moments -- both tragic and funny, and I really loved it for that. This looks like more of the same.
