Apparently, I am not oldskool enough, for all that my original journal (which I linked to as well) is #25051. (Yes, I applied with the info and got turned down.) What is it with me getting turned down from communities these days? I got turned down from a Canadian thrifting community a few weeks ago.

But I can vouch for you! try that. I mentioned that [livejournal.com profile] lakme knew who I was back when and that that old journal was really me.

I could try that. My info is on the old journal though and, honestly, lying on the internet is something anyone can do and if the honour system doesn't work, I do get put off. But I may try again. Once I'm done rolling my eyes a little, because I'm in one of those moods.

Heh. I got on lj coz I hear about it from a local friend who heard about it from [livejournal.com profile] kill who knew about it from Evan and At0m (who I later played Go with) who knew Brad. I don't think I had a ton to do with any of the Seattle founder-type people after that first year though and even then I hardly knew them (except for At0m who I was something like friends with).
