Am considering fielding a team/proposal for http://www.72hfp.com/ somewhat as a lark, somewhat as a crash course in a lot of things I'm currently interested in and somewhat as an excuse to make me write a screenplay really quickly.
If nothing else, it's spawned a list of lots and lots of one sentence screenplay ideas, which is a bit novel for me. Certainly it's a good mental process, no matter how it sorts out. Although I'm definitely having an internal debate about whether the frenzy of the situation is amusing enough to justify a situation where you're probably not making the best film you can -- that is, if I can't find a way to say "these artificial constraints will benefit the final product", I'm not sure I want to do it, at least leading something with my own concepts and script; crewing for someone else with a different outlook on it would be undeniably interesting.
Good voice lesson today, where I made a lot of progress with my head voice, although my chest voice was unusually shaky.
We're back into rehearsals on Monday, and I need to sit down and really apply myself for class that night as well.
