So tonight I saw Twist which is a gay/drag/BDSM musical based on Oliver Twist.

And I got sooooooooo emotionally involved in it. It's basically a love story between Twist and The Artful Dodger, with a heavy dose of a pretty poignant and fucked up love triangle with Fagin, and when the show wasn't being hillariously funny, scorchingly hot, or just plain peculiar, it was very very sweet.

NY'ers will have another chance to see it later in teh summer, which pleases me to no end, as I really want Patty to see it. Gaaaaaah.

I'm glad it will be back. I wanted to see it, but have absolutely no money at the moment.

Late July and early August. It has work to do, but it's much, much smarter than one first expects and thoroughly entertaining.
