Oh Billy Crddup, you beautiful, beautiful man; in fact, I think you make me glad I am not a man, otherwise I might spend lots of time lamenting the fact that I was not you.

David Hyde Pierce --oh, yay you! Your speech and the trenbling was delightful.

Chick who won for "And the Little Dog Laughed" whose name I can't remember -- you are a mensch!

Spring Awakenings -- you still suck, you call that dance? and your costumes which should be awesome? deeply incoherent. Finally, everyone who made speeches about how meaningful teh show was for them? GET OVER IT.

--

In other news:

"John from Cincinatti" -- someone help me. Anyone. What the fuck did I just watch? And why is the only interesting character a crazy gay guy with a gun, a teddybear and an inexplicable air of pure menace?

and finally:

Had people be unspeakably rude to me on teh street today for no apparent reason, and when I inquired as to why it was explained to me that only ugly girls would eat food walking down the street and ugly people don't deserve anything at all. Just in case you weren't clear ont he duties of women, folks, thought I'd pass that shit along.

I liked Spring Awakening, but the dance was an awful, awful thing. Bill T Jones, what were you THINKING???

Chick from "The Little Dog Laughed" was adorable. I would see the play just for her.

is it just me, or have the Tonys gotten infinitely more annoying in the last ten years? I can't even watch the whole thing now.

Re: David Hyde Pierce - I just love him and how genuinely shocked and greatful he was. I still remember watching an episode of Fraiser in which his character had taken a muscle relaxant and then he and Fraiser went to a seafood restaurant and he tried to "free" the lobsters. His performace had me gasping for breath. I never knew he was so good at physical comedy before that. Since then, he can do no wrong in my book.

Re: People on the Street - How do you not just go off and punch someone in the face who says that? You are quite the patient person.

Oh yay! We can start a club because apparently the only people who are ever allowed to eat in public are the ones who never do - eat, that is. While I'm sorry to hear you had this experience, I'm also sort of relieved that I'm not the only one who is publicly disciplined for ya know, eating.
