the 'serious' is what dumbfounds me in the post. Who is to be the judge of that?

Perhaps if you send a marble dildo or glass that is serious opposed to the silicon variety?

Hmmm.

I am more than willing to donate if you are sending a carepackage to TX. I have an ex there I would love to embarass.

More than six (intent to distribute) is what makes it a felony in Texas. Hence my using this as the most annoying, uncomfortable example I can think of to plague LJ with.

wow, does tx have it's priorities messed up. I was 18 and stopped in my car just outside Houston with a joint in my ashtray. The cop actually weighed it to see if he needed to cite me or not.

I can see what a threat a half lot of silicon truly is now.

Now, the question remains: are you going Permanent this time or not? :)

Nope. I don't even use all my icons as it is. I'm not sure it would ever pay for itself.

*nods* I can understand that. I don't use them either. *laugh* Which is funny, because I did, once upon a time.

"Serious" illegal activities? Sheesh.

What problems is 6A trying to prevent with this policy? Liability for contributory infringement? Bad press? Indignant users ("I saw XYZ on your site and it's so disgusting I want to cancel my service immediately")? Squicked advertisers?

Love the example.

And right now, I'm still not impressed by what their policies/goals/vague-handwaving will accomplish other than a lot of "Hmm, maybe I better not post [fitb] because it might bet me bounced."

Nope, 6A isn't censoring; they're just scaring people into self-censoring.
