As much as I keep trying to convince myself this is an unreasonable desire, it's not working. I mean look at it. Think about my life and look at it. Patty loves it too. And I think, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's an entirely true sentence, I'm going to get it when the money for the job comes in.

I know! I was just thinking Patty and I need to come up with our own pillars.

Or, I need to get bored and do a scross stich of the House of Iona ones for my kitchen wall or something. Because it's damn funny.

As an aside to this, but still in the gentlemanly vein, you know, when I win the Lotto I am so going to buy you a classic Breguet like this one (http://www.users.cloud9.net/~bradmcc/WPM/Breguet23-647.html).

hmmmm... it's very pretty, but will it fit in your room???

if not, just put it in the living room. you can entertain guests in your room.

heh, that was my first thought, too.

I envision some very, very white bedding on it... and something velvety and sumptuous. and nothing else in the room.

except maybe the chaise.

It's a full. Same as the bed I have now. And since the desk will be moving into the office, and my clothes trunk and bookcase will be moving into the living room, more than definitely.

full? heavens, that will never do! you need a queen at least. that extra foot makes a world of difference.

plus, a bed that nice needs to be big. very big.

We'll discuss it. I think we like being able to actually find each other in the bed, and we're both tiny people.

that is where large numbers of pillows come in handy.

granted I'm a much larger person than either of you, and need to sleep with only minor contact with my co-sleeper, but I found a full size bed terribly uncomfortable to share after a while.

Dude, the bed you have now is only a full? Because, yeah, I felt like there was all sorts of excess space in it.

Well, until the time we fell off it.

Hahaha. Yeah. But I feel like that was not the fault of the bed, and might well have happened with an extra foot.

This is very true.

Although falling off of the brocade home bed would hurt a lot more than the one you have now.

But it would also be funnier!

And dude, we're so getting the damn bed.

Heh. And least there is that to make up for the embarrassment and/or injuries.

You are so in love with it.

Well, it's got a full concept behind it. Including you(!!), swords in the corner and the first furniture I'll have purchased since I was 21.

also, doesn't it seem awesome to just hide in?

Hee. I like being part of a concept behind it. And wow, you haven't bought furniture in that long? You must have made very good choices then.

It does. Especially once it gets cold; it seems like it'd be the sort of bed you wouldn't want to leave.

If I believed in sin, I would say it would be a sin for you to not purchase it.
