I'm not leaving LJ mainly because it's convenient for me to be here and I think I am a useful troublemaker while waiting for the wolves.

HOWEVER:

This journal has been backed up in its entirety.
So has Descensus (which, unlike this journal, is at real risk in this drama).

Mirrors for this journal and Descensus will be announced on Sunday.
I'm in the Directorium under my full, real name, RachelineMaltese, as I choose to be safer (and have the luxury of doing so; I know many don't) because I'm not ashamed of my fannishness, among other things.

I'll add the relevant links there as well once they go up on Sunday.

I'm pissed as hell.

I'm torn about leaving LJ. Honestly, it's inconvenient and pisses me off. But I have no problem with moving my fandom content off LJ, and that's what I plan to do.

My main frustration is that I feel like I should either leave for another venue (probably GJ) and put my money there, & still read here, or stay here and keep paying, because I loathe having to give up my pretty icons & moodthemes & pic storage... at the same time, I loathe giving 6A money...

I'm really disgusted with all of this, especially as I just got a permanent account. Can't move either, because so many of my readers know to find me here on LJ. It really sucks.
