rmMoney is fucked with the Germans. AGAIN. This time because someone is on vacation. I should get all of my August money by September 1. This is very aggravating, but not, actually, dire, assuming other money comes through in a timely fashion (as it should) and this statement from them is truthful (which having just gotten more info, it seems to be). It is, however, entirely irksome. BECAUSE I WOULD LIKE TO ORDER OUR BED NOW.
Last night, Patty lost power out there in Ohio. I suspect it may still be out as she has not yet surfaced today. (ETA: she has power; I am silly.)
At 4, I'll know if I'm working L&O on Monday (yay, check!). (ETA: Actually, I'll know about L&O tomorrow).
I am, actually, in a pretty good mood, displeased though I may be about the $$ drama. I've been really productive the last couple of days and suspect I will continue to be so the next couple of days all of which makes for Better Life and all that.
But, yo, *sigh*
In other news, muscle definition in my arms is now noticeable at rest. Like, very noticeable. This is terribly exciting to me.
I also got some nice extra $$ for demand on my articles from Associated Content today, and can see that next month's payment in this regard should be even larger. I am thrilled.
I am also starting to develop a reputation online for writing about SF/F (I mean aside from the "Racheline Maltese is a douchebag" thing because of my nasty Melusine review) and had a couple of people contact me asking me to review things from their imprint today.
I feel like the poster child for what you do and who you are not having to be seperate things. It's kinda rockin'.
Finally, I feel the need to alert you to urban chickens: http://www.madcitychickens.com/ thanks to someone on my friends list who may or may not wish to be named.
