Also, no sense of putting this in the review, but hey, John Dee makes an appearance. They don't get into any of the interesting stuff there, of course, but it was still cool.
Final note from me for after you've seen it:
The volta, a dance Elizabeth has Raleigh do with Bess, involves the man lifting the woman by the base of the front busk of her corset/bodice. Yes, it is very suggestive; that’s the point, but no, he’s not actually grabbing her crotch.
