JKR saying Dumbledore was gay is not some hideous introduction of sexuality into innocent children's books.

Also, if anyone bothered to actually read the story she gave beyond that quote, it makes perfect sense in context of Dumbledore's character development. The quote itself doesn't change the content of the story at all, which makes it very much a non-issue (except to the zealots who already don't like it).
