- I am so excited to fence tonight. It's been so long since I've made class twice in one week, and it always feels good to prove to folks they won't get rid of me that easily -- my incredible propensity to utterly humiliate myself entirely aside.

- I really, really, need to get strong for Sicily. It is, in a way, more an endurance issue than a strnegth issue, because these weapons just aren't that heavy, but even so, it's muscle endurance at issue, not cardio endurance.

- Still feel kind of crazy. But I also feel like it's defused a bit and is now more background noise.

- I feel productive today.

- NaNoWriMo, I know! I'm not, honestly, sure it's going to happen, but at least I'm working on the novel again.

- Speaking of, I really need to polish the little chunk I think I'm reading at the Rapidfire Reading at Philcon assuming we get it. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH PHILCON?

- In quasi non-fictional news, three weeks until book release!

- Apparently, I need to find reindeer horns for the cats for the holiday cards. They have a hard life.

- Apparently, we will also be having a holiday guest!kitten.

Very much a muscle endurance issue, not a cardio one; my cardio endurance was crap after three years of fencing with Ray -- 1 class a week + for most of it, two SCA practices as well (because I was insane). But my thighs and forarm were pretty decent. And moving to a replica rapier (from a double-wide epee) for rapier was yet another thing in terms of muscle strength/endurance.
