Dreadful news. Alas, since she returned to Pakistan it has seemed more a case of 'when' rather than 'if' this happened. Still, though, it's the worst news that the Indian subcontinent could possibly have borne at this time. Truly shocking.
I heard about this too. Very, very sad news. I do wonder what the fallout will be - I figure her martyring will make things sway strongly, just don't know which way. I would hold out hope that those on her side will surge in strength and outrage and take steps to eradicate the more barbaric elements and bring their people to something more closely resembling sanity. It makes me wonder what will happen in the rest of that part of the world, how the other countries will react and either what obstacles they will present, or how they might pony up and aid the effort towards being less...fundamental.
