I've pointed this out several times, but not lately (because I've become Bush-weary). Every year, a select few high school students from around the country are chosen to represent their states, go to Washington, visit the White House, etc. It's very competitive. Any one of them is more articulate, intelligent, and socially/politically/historically/culturally aware than the guy who is sitting in the big chair. It makes me ill.
