Thursday night before the Barn Dance Patty & I went to the new VINYL location on 77th and 2nd for dinner.

I went to the barn dance and was fine until about 30 mnutes afterwards.

It soon became clear I had food poisoning and I was puking until about 7:30 in the morning.

Yesterday I slept a lot, read some and ate two pieces of toast.

Today I've had apple juice (and shortly) toast. I'm planning rice later.

I hadn't puked in about ten years, and that I don't remember very well because it was in teh midst of another medical emergency. The last time I really remember such a thing I was 22. I don't deal with puking well, and this time it immediately kicked me back into a situation where I almost died. So this has been harder on my head in some ways than on my body.

Today I am going to work, to try to catch up on things. I also need to catch up on my grad school app tonight and a lot of other stuff.

I am going to try to take it easy all weekend, maybe eat some plain chicken tonight, in hopes that I will be normal by Monday for work and fencing.

I remember the worst for me was the first time I puked when I was living away from home.

Personally, I can't imagine how people can make themselves puke to purge of food.
