How can I still feel so tired and weird from the food poisoning episode?

Also, now I have a cold.

I am so frustrated.

YOur body chemistry was messed up. It takes awhile to get it 'back in line', I think.

I'm sorry about your cold, though. After the other, it must be frustrating.

Speaking from experience, one solid day of vomiting can mess you up for a whole week. Your whole body was thrown into chaos. Also it can take a few days to catch up on dehydration, which will make you feel miserable.

Tylenol and regular water will help. Your body can only handle an 8 oz. glass every 30 minutes though, so don't overdo it.

Thinking:

Since Celiac is an autoimmune condition predominately affecting the digestive system, it's possible that something like food poisoning could irritate you more than it might someone else. I have Crohn's, and stomach viruses kick my butt far more than they used to.

Hope you feel all the way better soon.

It took me more than a week to completely shake the aftereffects of whatever I had, fwiw.
