Publisher wants to know what magazines appeal to the media nerd demographic for potential advertising. This isn't something I actually have any knowledge of. Ideas?
I would say mags like Realms of Fantasy, Alien Skin (though that may be more SF than F), Abyss and Apex. There's a small magazine that I write book reviews for, Tales of the Talisman. It's got decent distribution, and the ads are fairly inexpensive. RoF is probably one of the biggest spec fic mags, and they have lots of college kids that read, from what I hear.
