I got my first acceptance for Terminus. I haven't heard on any of my other proposals yet, but I will be definitely giving my paper on "Severus Snape, Gender, and Heroism".
Is there any possibility of reading such papers? I am quite interested in the one on Jewish identity also... I should like to read them, to think new thoughts of Severus. If not, however, I understand of course.
But probably. I will probably submit this one to the conference proceedings book. The jewish identity one I've been told I should work up as an article for a journal or magazine, but we'll see. The stuff will certainly show up in some form some where, but not before the con, which is in August.
Btw, I was talking to Marci last night. If you can give us some book copies we could quite possibly sell a bunch at our meetups. People keep asking about them ;)
For the moment we point them towards Amazon.com, but i think a few signed copies might invite a "squee!" or two.
