Okay, we've just gotten through disc 2 of season 1. On the odd chance anyone is still looking to not be spoiled ...

Ghost Machine: Somewhat confusing, but nicely done.

Cyberwomen: Not as bad as you all led me to believe. The production values and choices are much worse than the script, and I suppose it's more tolerable if you're a Doctor Who fan and know the Cybermen mythology (I don't, but Alison has ranted to me about it).

Small Worlds: Really loved this. The flowers were creepy. Jack's emotion both about the woman he had been in love with and about the little girl going to her own creepy immortal fate (as juxtaposed with his own) was nice. Also, I have always loved that poem.

Am starting to see hints of Ianto/Jack, but I still can't figure out how they are really going to get there.

Ghost Machine, for me, was the first episode that allowed me to see Owen in a remotely positive light.

Cyberwoman will always be my least favorite episode of the series, largely for the reasons you mentioned. That and I just got tired of Ianto being all weepy.

Small worlds I loved on several levels but one of the main ones was Jack seeing a woman he loved aged while he remains unchanged.

Owen is often really funny, but I really do have the worst feeling about him.
