I loved The English Patient. I was in a conversation recently about the most romantic scenes from movies, and tops for me is the scene between Binoche's nurse and the Indian mine expert in the abandoned church, when he wordlessly ties the rope around her, hands her a flashlight and launches her up the steeple to see the paintings.
That seems really young to die. He was obviously quite brilliant.
PS. For you, thank you for the material for my recent acting exercise with my friend. I will give you a shout out in my first monologue video, which will be based on the memoirs of Catherine the Great. This one may take a couple of weeks to put together since I am waiting to get paid right now.
