rmBecause Patty has a lack of affection for superlatives, I cannot tell you she is the best girlfriend in the whole world. Instead I can only tell you that she is a very very good girlfriend whom I like very much and was cute enough to send me a letter before she left NYC so I would get a letter when she was gone since I wrote her one to bring with her on her trip to Vancouver.

Date: 2008-03-28 04:09 am (UTC)When Jason went to Egypt the first time, I snuck a stack of letters and cards into his luggage, with specific dates on when to open them. "First Night in Cairo," "First Week of Dig," etc, and then some Special Event cards - "For When You've Had A Bad Day," for example.
It was a great deal of fun, actually. I even coaxed his daughter and father into doing a few.
