I suspect that female pregnancy is mostly revenge, too. Okay, well, maybe not the pregnancy part by itself, but the societal pressures to reproduce I feel must be some form of revenge. "I went through labor pains for 23 hours, SO YOU HAVE TO SUFFER AS WELL, DAMMIT!!!"
