thank you for the link. this is something very close to my heart for many reasons.

in the past i've become mildly obsessed with the fact that there was art and poetry created in concentration camps, scraps of paper hidden in the cuffs of pants and words memorized and passed from prisoner to prisoner. there's something about the human spirit in that that is staggering.

but this story, the fluidity of history...i think this is very important right now. how long until the last survivor is gone and all we're left with are oral stories and horrible photographs and not completely accurate films like "Schindler's List"?
