It's so sad; I've been impressed by how well various folks have held it together (but in some part it seems like it may be because it hasn't really sunk in yet).
Yeah. Olbermann's having a harder and harder time (I'm expecting men to cry on camera at any second here, which would be a not bad thing really, but oh do I feel for these people trying to do their job under these circumstances). Andrea Mitchell almost lost it earlier, but seems to have pulled it together a little more.
I think Russert is going to go down as a truly significant figure in journalism history of the 20th and 21st century, simply for the model he provided. I don't know of anyone one on the left or the right who ever accused him of anything other than being professional. And from everything you see about him from the people that knew him he was a seriously good man and stand up guy.
