Live Long and Marry

livelongnmarry is a fandom auction to benefit marriage equality. Bidding begins on July 1, 2008, and closes on July 15, 2008. Offers of items to auction being accepted now.

The auction will raise money for the fight against the California initiative which will legally destroy existing same-sex marriages and ban any further ones. If the initiative passes, it will write discrimination into the state constitution and annul existing marriages between same-gendered couples.

I've got two items in the auction so far: an autographed copy of my book and a chance to comission fanfiction from me in the Torchwood/Doctor Who, Harry Potter or Kushiel's Dart universe.

I was just talking to Marilyn (from regency dancing) about the TW picnic and she said if she ever dressed up it would be as John Hart which I found terribly amusing.

Hahahahaah. Hahahahaah. Oh god that is so awesome. Also, she's another short one right? Bloody shame it's so damn hard to do anything about the jacket. Because I have a shitty shitty katana she could borrow.

Actually not short, kind of tall (or maybe its just because she's so lean that I think of her as taller than she is). For her, it's all about the jacket. She'll be at the Assembly this Saturday, maybe we can harrass her into joining us.
