- Patty has a weekend off and so is in a town, so we got to talk for ages today online and she got to hear the recording I did of Cheek to Cheek (which wasn't even a song she was actually familiar with more than faintly) for her and will be able to download the long voice letter I did for her last night later. It was a good happy thing.

- Work $ drama continues.

- 20 days.

- The HP fandom (or at least my corner of it) is about people trying to be really smart in the face of the end of the world. The DW/TW fandom is about being trying to have damn good time in the face of the end of the world, because that reminds you of why you've got to save it.

- Still owe you a fencing post.

- the Live Long and Marry Auctions I'm involved in are now up to $336

Isn't it awesome? So appropriate for so many made of fail situations.

It's a quote from the tie-in novel that is pretty much the universally loved one.

Would that be "Twilight Streets"?

None of my local bookstores have it, sigh, so I must resort to Amazon...

That would be it. It's totally awesome, especially if you're into Jack/Ianto and but you're not interested in some de-fanged kinder, gentler Jack or for that matter, poor, long-suffering Ianto. These are two grownups who are very capable of standing up to each other's bullshit.

Also, Bilis Manger is a major plotpoint.
