Being me, I half-expect to see fireman gear somewhere in this picture; there's definitely a "uniforms" and working-man feel. (Narrower suspenders for dressier, I think that and the rolled sleeves and open collar are the working-class motifs. And the lack of a watch.)
Thanks. It was exactly what I was hoping to get out of this evening. Sadly, I was reminded by the photographer that Polaroid ha gone out of business, and they won't be doing the photos anymore after the next event because they can't get anymore film. The photo wasn't supposed to be about _that_.
Meanwhile, despite the fact that I own a _very_ nice watch that doesn't look femme on me at all, I am crap at remembering to wear it.
Is there? Darn, even at maximum zoom, I can't make it out. It's very odd* that He came came into my life about the same time you did, in ways quite unconnected with you. It's very odd, because most of the Gods in my life aren't, as a rule, Egyptian. To quote a friend, I'm all about agro Celtic battle Goddesses. But I'm a 21st century Gael, so He's most welcome, if He wishes to take an interest.
OH not in this photo. In the bedroom at home. IT's just one of those things. I'm around when death happens that isn't really my grief and then deal with Stuff. It's what I do. *shrug*
