- Sore as hell from the apartment stuff, stick class and having eaten a multi-grain corn chip by accident. There will be no fencing for me today.

- Patty! I realize, not very articulate, but I'm just sort of wallowing in her being home. Her mom gets here Wednesday and then she'll go for a family visit on Friday or Saturday returning when I return from Terminus (more on that below).

- Really kinda taken aback by the reactions to The Most Beautiful Girl in the World -- I knew it was something when we were writing it (which was hard for me as it's Not My Kink), and I know this series has been very well-received in general, but it's hit some sort of nerve with people where the emotional response is just so palpable. It's very strange and lovely.

- Hey, Terminus is coming up. I am seriously debating not bringing the giant suitcase of costumes, but stuffing to cute silk dresses and a bunch of mens clothes into the carry-on and just kinda doing my thing. I don't know. My life has a different sort of freedom to it these days.

Since Terminus is my first conference and I'm newcomer to the whole fandom thing I'm still going crazy with my costumes like an overexcited pre-teen. Sorry. My luggage situation is going to be nightmare.
Are you bringing you Captain Jack ensemble? Because if you are and redstapler brings the brown pinstripe suit I will totally bring my black suit and Torchwood travel coffee mug if we need a break from the Potterverse.
