- speaking of Torchwood two things:

1. Out of Time is a bloody stellar episode. It's extremely well-written to the acting talents of the cast, and the show even when it is well-written (which is certainly not always the case) doesn't always write with the strengths and weaknesses of its performers in mind. Pretty much a perfect episode though.

2. Okay. I now know at least two people who have ordered in pizza as Torchwood. Seriously? I still feel guilty when I have to give a fake name because my real one is too hard for them to get a handle on. I feel like I'm missing out on some common insanity. Do you give the pizza people strange names and in-jokes when you get delivery?

Ooh, I could never order pizza as Torchwood! We have a close and loving relationship with our pizza delivery people. I know they have a computer that tells them what we've ordered when we call them, but I like to imagine they know us and are sort of fond of us and our weekly orders. Damn. Now I'm going to have to order pizza as Torchwood from some inferior place that doesn't know me...

Oh, where to START with Palin. I think McCain is doing her the kind of favor Bush did for Harriet Miers when he put her up for Supreme Court. I do not like her one little bit, yet I feel sorry for her and her family and her hapless daughter.

That THING you linked to is going to give me nightmares. Probably in the next fifteen minutes, because I had periodontal work done an hour ago and just took a Serious Pain Medication.
