rm- Remember what I said about catching up on email today? Not so much.
- Instead we went out to buy new bookcases and a butcher block kitchen island thing and some other random stuff for the house (it will be delvered Tuesday) and got stuck in a tropical storm and then I came home and napped.
- Now were making dinner, before heading to Kali's bday party, because of course she would have hers in said tropical storm.

Date: 2008-09-07 12:22 pm (UTC)Yeah, Hanna was fun as it passed us by. Two days of solid gray skies, steady rain and windiness. I didnt much mind though as it was actually less violent than our regular storms this year.
Now we're waiting to see if we can dodge Ike..it's kinda looking like we will luck out, unless he pulls a Wilma once he hits the Gulf side of the state. (I'm in S.Florida, east coast.)
