Okay, there are now several other ones we're considering, including one that I liked the second I saw it, but thought to myself, "that's so crazy and typical of my aesthetic, I won't subject Patty to it" but then she mailed me and said "I also like this one" so now we're pondering:

I may be the only person who finds it funny, but I find it hilarious.

How sturdy is that frame? :)

(Sorry, it's the only question I ever really consider with beds. That grillwork would probably have to be thicker for me to approve this bed. But that's so totally between you and Patty.)

It takes to particularly craptasic welds to give under normal ...um...use much more important is how the head and foot boards join the frame. If they are not secure, or the connections are not of sufficient size then strain on the head or food broad will stretch the metal, strip connections and make the whole thing permanently loose and wiggly

of coarse enough tack welds fix most everything.
