So marchek and I went for a drink. At Molly's. And it was all very normal, which Molly's rarely is.

Until some dude got up abruptly from his seat and started trying to dance sexily near us while I was telling a story about slugs.

The horror made it so difficult to concentrate, I eventually gave up. And then the fellow asked us how we liked his dancing and marchek and I said various off-putting things, and then the dude comes out with -- wait for it -- "What does she do? Is she a pilot?"

I almost spit my drink all over the bar.

As we were leaving, after a few other lame interactions with this fellow, another member of his party steps in front of us rather agressively as we're trying to leave, blocking the door. I'm furious, but I'm also curious.

"Do you two," he begins and then seems to pause forever, "work together?"

"No," I say flatly.

He continues to stare at us, and eventually steps aside.
