- Patty and I are having a lovely time. We are a little vortex of lovely in a universe of stress. But, our ceiling has stopped leaking, stuff is getting done, and plans are emerging. Life is good.

- Firefly continues! OMG, The Hero of Canton! So funny, so sweet, so smart -- Canton being both a random place in Ohio and a province in China. So much to evoke so all over the place and all in keeping with the world of the show. Also, hey, I forgot how young and clueless and full of shit Simon is. He's so sweet. Sometimes, I watch this show, and I'm like hey, Mal is Jack without the sex and Simon is Ianto without the scary internalized self-hatred and creepy competency. And I'd like to see Jayne vs. John Hart. I'm just saying.

- IHNIIHBT is progressing well. The edits are going to be a bit intensive as we're introducing a lot of new characters and voices int his one, but I'm now pretty much 100% sure it's going to do exactly what we want it to.

- I need to see Black Watch before it disappears from NYC.

- I should also do holiday shopping at some damn point.

- I'm really aggravated with my parents right now as everything out of their mouth is either "save money, work constantly, the world is ending" or "All you do is drink and party and why won't you come over to our house immediately to tell us how to use Associated Content because we don't want to read the FAQ ourselves. You don't care about us!" I work a lot. And I'm pretty pissed off with what their bullshit is implying. I'm going over there Saturday and suspect it's going to be unpleasant.
