I wrote two pieces for this year's Yuletide:

Irrational Acts, which is PG-13 Doctor Who/Torchwood RPF. I almost feel guilty about it, but it's so meta meta meta meta meta, that I kinda don't.

The Way In Which Letters Must Always Tumble Downhill which is Katherine/Artemisia (PG-13) from Ellen Kushner's Riverside universe. I became so taken with Katherine's babbling, that I also did a podfic of it, which is linked on the story page (as an aside -- I really like reading aloud and it is good practice for me -- if you have a fic you're interested in a podfic of and want me to do, let me know and we'll talk).

Oh I had actually guessed Irrational Acts to be you, privately. Cool.

Heheheeh. Awesome. The meta is sort of the giveaway in a way.

It might indeed be, yes. It was a good read, and I enjoyed it.

Thank you. I suppose the sentences that never end was also a giveaway (as this had been something that was languishing on my harddrive, that I finished up and threw up on teh site right before the deadline, with not as much checking for dumb crap as it needed -- but it's like a safety valve -- if I don't write the RPS seriously, I won't write the RPS seriously), but, you know... now I've got 10 weeks of too much time on my hands.

I won't speak words of discouragement there. It is something I enjoy reading when it's worth reading, and I'd be quite happy to read more of that from you.

I never would have seen Irrational Acts if you hadn't linked it, and I'm glad you did, very glad. The meta ... yeah. I realized, reading it, how much my entire life is still so much bound up in the blur between the fictional and nonfictional, from being raised in the theater. Damn, again you put into words something I never had thrust into my forebrain until now. Or perhaps it's always been there, but I've ignored that information since I was in, oh, my 20s.
