You've budgeted a certain obscene amount of money for a vacation. Like what you want to spend and what you could go up to if need be,

Due to the shitty economy, you discover you can book that trip for 25% less than your original budget and about 40% off of your absolute high-end total.

Then you discover that because of the shitty economy, if you go back to maxing out your "want to spend" number, you can upgrade to serious motherfucking luxury (and not have a balcony obstructed by life boats).

Do you do it?

I go with "DO IT!!" but I also believe in enjoying whatever pieces of life you can, wherever you can... especially in times like this. If you can make it work, go in style and enjoy the hell out of it.
