We have water and rocks coming out of our bedroom ceiling and the people upstairs have chunks of plaster falling out of their ruined water logged bathroom ceiling ceiling. Plumber coming. Maintenance guys here. EEK!

Hope someone gets to your apartment ASAP!

Ceilings are often full of evil. Especially in an older building where plumbing repairs may be a mosaic of parts from different eras, creating a colorful patchwork of epic fail waiting to happen.

Oh, jeebus.

That suuuucks.

It happened at my boyfriend's place over the summer. I noticed a drizzle when I was using the bathroom during the night, so I flipped on the light. The light exploded. Good times.

Oh jesus christ.

Yeah, been there. Hope the cats aren't permanently traumatized by water sprouting from their ceiling.

I just had to deal with that in my kitchen. I came home from NYCC to discover water gushing from upstairs. I have had 10 days with no kitchen, but he(maintenance guy) is supposed to be done today- just in time for me to leave for Wondercon in the morning.

Luckily, my bathroom is still usable. Hopefully this really will be sorted on schedule.

Mostly, I can cope. And you know, Patty could totally cope too, but I want this to be all solved before she comes home.

Isn't this the premise of a horror movie?

On a more serious note, I'm sorry to read about the ceiling. That sucks a lot of butt.
