just found out my grandfather just died. Eventhough he was in hospice this was abrupt to what I'd been told. Am fine-ish but will post (more) about why it's complicated soonish. No service sort of by his request but I feel seriously weird about that (again backstory later - I'm in the subway right now). Anyway, off to a thing. All times are now.

Without knowing any backstory, I do know that deaths of family are extraordinarily weird and generally not pleasant, to understate the obvious. I wish you all the support of friends and family that you may feel you need; if you have good memories of your grandfather, may they bring you solace.
