Good! And too bloody right - zombie incursion is serious business.

*Has genuine zombie phobia*

Many years ago I recall a short story about an elephant? gazelle? that told stories. When it came across a talking lion (talking his language, not just lion langugae) he had just been making up a story about such an occurance.

So, instead of being startled and easy prey, he just kicked the lion and kept talking and creating his story.

There has been so much really good policy work already done in speculative fiction regarding natural, unnatural, and supernatural events.

Sometimes I hope that world leaders have a think tank tucked away trying to write procedures on first contact and the like.

LOL they come off so much better than last year when they thought those Aqua Teen Hungerforce neon things were bombs, but of course technically those were the fine Cambridge police my tax dollars pay for.

Can't wait til the Winthrop police start using it. Messages will look something like this:

"Sitting on Shore Drive with my thumb up my ass."

"Beware! Elderly lady with cane slashing people at ice cream parlor!"

Good to know. Hopefully they'll inform the Wakefield police as well. My town has several Web sites, but I don't think they routinely follow Twitter.

That's just too cool. Now I want to contact all of the major police departments in the country and find out their take on zombies. :)

Soon, they will be writing zombie policies.
