*sympathies* - AT&T, the brilliant little sods, disconnected my DSL/phone on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, because *my neighbors* were moving out, and they got the wrong phone line. my DSL goes out semi-regularly (couple of days at least once every six weeks), so it wasn't till I tried dial-up access at 9pm, and had no dial tone, that I realized what had happened.
Got automated system and indication of no tech till following thursday; tech showed up 8am tuesday and said "oops, fixed now".
luckily, was cat-sitting for friend, so went and battened on her cable internet. will be converting as soon as I am close to full-time-employed...
