Jazz Age Picnic (and a turkey)
Jun. 6th, 2009 10:07 pmToday was the Jazz Age PIcnic on Governors Island.
Things of note included a wild turkey wandering around Wall Street, a new section of the island being opened (which led to me loudly shrieking and laughing about being dressed like Jack Harkness and almost falling out of a hammock, repeatedly), a city employee that will be the subject of a nasty phone call I make to 311 and, of course, PURE AWESOMENESS. Photos below. Turkey included.

Wild turkey on Wall Street!
picnic carnage
This girl's dress had a habit of giving us a very good view of her very nice ass. I didn't take pictures of that indiscretion though.
boys dancing!
I just love this photo to pieces. LIttle boy, laughing parent and tuba!

We're really into each other.

flowers!
a newly opened part of the island

driftwood drifting

Patty with fake roses

seagull!

I'm vain, but my reaction is not normally, "yeah, I'd do me," but yeah, I would. Love this photo. Yay Patty.

Hammock! I was really bad at this and laughing like an idiot. Patty thinks this looks like she is eating my brains.

I live in the greatest city in the world AND I get to go home with her.

(Shame about the douchey Parks employee, but that sounds like the one cloud on the shiny day.)
