SETTING: BED.

Me: It's like pizza. No one ever has pizza for just a little bit of cheese. No one has sex for just a little bit of sensation!
Patty: I'm really disturbed by this pizza and sex metaphor thing.
Me: It always works. There's a consistant relationship there. Like, mediocre pizza and mediocre sex -- still good.
Patty: I know... but that thing about the cheese, did you have to?

(time elapses)

Me: Baby.
Patty: Baby.
Me: Baby.
Patty: What Babe? The babe with the power.
Me: What power?
Us: The power of voodoo!
Me: Who do?
Us: You do!
Me: o/~ I saw my baby, crying hard as babe could cry, what could I doooooo...? o/~ Crap. I don't remember the rest of it.
Patty: Dance. Magic dance.

(time elapses)

Me: I really don't see what's so wrong about the pizza thing.
Her: It's just... with the cheese!
Me: It's not as bad as spiders (*does little spider feet thing on Patty*)
Her: AAAAAAAAAAARGH! No no no no no no. If I can't make that cat puke sound, you can't make spiders.
Me: Pook pook pook.
Her: Not that cat puke sound. The one you said I can't make in bed.
Me: Oh. What about lesbian cripple spider babies?
Her: Not the same!

(time elapses)

Me: Okay, so about the pizza thing....
Her: Jaaaaaaaaack!
Me: *rolling over on Patty* What did you just call me?
Her: You heard me!
Me: *uncontrollable laughter*
Her: *coughing fit*
Me: Are you okay?
Her: *dryly* Yeah, sorry about killing the moment. *more coughing*
Me: It's okay. Pook pook pook.
Us: *squeals of idiot laughter*

I think the pizza-sex thing is perfect, personally. And the mediocre thing is so true, because who cares if it's mediocre, it's pizza! (Or sex). And what's more, most people are always in the mood for at least one of them.
