request for recs

I need a cheap, reliable, no drama hosting service that will makes things as uncomplex as possible for me in terms of registering a domain name and allowing me to update my site via FTP whenever, and in terms of not dinging me on transfer fees. I Google, and 8-billion things come up, and it's too much for my poor little brain.

Oh my.

I'm rather disturbed by this on a few levels.

I never expected my communications with the company to be made public, and certainly not in an unrelated person's journal... Would you mind terribly deleting this thread, starting with my own commentary?

My apologies for the clutter. I honestly had no idea that this would result of my recommendation.
