I know I really want to see the thing, but as it's a short, I've no idea how that's going to happen, but I'm sure it will surface somewhere or other eventually.

I'd be inclined to say the community will Find A Way. Also, if the production folks have Facebookery, or what have you, they may be up for helping make it happen. I know of at least one filmmaker who was quietly sending DVDs to folks while he was trying to secure Actual Distribution, as it were.

Yeah. Parts of fandom may have been more than a bit awful in response to CoE, but hey, harness this power for good!
