It's quite clear I'm not going to have a free moment here. No ten-hour turnaround for me. More like six. UGH.

It was so foggy here tonight I couldn't find my way back to the hotel. Nothing looked familiar, and it was like a cloudy scrim was pulled across the city.

Got an email from the guy directing my play. He's already cast and wants to talk to me to pick my brain about something or other. It was sort of a kick to mail him back and tell him I was in Switzerland and that he could call me Sunday.

I managed actual cooked, gluten-free food tonight. Also, I am now eating marzipan carrots.

ETA: Why are the church bells ringing at 12:48am?

I am trying to figure out how to stuff cherries with almond paste and put them in a dessert. Maybe I'll bake them into a cake.

Imagine a dry, soft dough made of almond and sugar,. It is often shaped and colored to look like fruits or figures. It is totally delicious and wonderful.
