In emailing with my fellow Gally co-conspirators about the particular hilarity that pretty much any Lady Gaga song when paired with the idea of cosplay in LA creates, I was once again remained of the Neutraface thing, which I've been assured is funny even if you're not a typeface geek. I've recently accepted the fact that I freakin' love Lady Gaga! I got her two albums yesterday and have been listening to them non-stop.

She reminds me a bit of the Scissor Sisters, but only as much as it feels like I'm listening to club music in my own home - one of my friends said that if that's what I consider club music it's been a looooong time since I wasn't in a gay bar!

Reading your thread above in discussing her, I agree with you description - Ziggy Stardust + Paris Hilton! Though in "Bad Romance" she does indeed reference Madonna's "Vogue" (possibly her best song ever!).
