  • Just vid chatted with Patty. Pure awesome.

  • Just did my really long interview for [livejournal.com profile] mithrigil -- we're doing text interviews with each other and posting them in our journals. I have her awesome text, but it's not going up until there are song samples too! You should also check her journal for more info about Music Mondays!

  • Dogboy & Justine currently has 40 backers who have donated $1,555. This is AMAZING. To stay on target we need to reach $1,700 by the time I land in Zurich on Monday afternoon. Can you make me have one less thing to worry about in the air?

  • Despite being too tired to see straight last night, I did my 30 minutes of minimum work on the project with Kali last night at 3am, while looking at expensive real estate for visual reference.

  • New Yorkers: Metropolis is playing at the Ziegfeld RIGHT NOW.

  • Consuelo Crespi has died.

  • Possible meth lab found in Georgetown dorm.

  • True fact #1: Snow is expected where I'll be on Wednesday. WEDNESDAY.

  • True face #2: "Gridlock" is still the best 10th Doctor episode.

  • True fact #3: I am leaving my city in good hands.

Good to know it's not just me and my transportation obsession (plus an amazing use of religion).

#3 is me being an asshole. Also, my cat/house sitter is rad and fannish.

I LOVED GRIDLOCK. The pacing, the dystopian future, the hope at the end...yes. Hope is v. good.

Huh, I have a sad lack of Martha icons, but am loath to get rid of any of Tosh or River to do so. Hmmm...

Promise, I'll take good care of it for you!

and Metropolis!!! I saw a cut of it at Film Forum, maybe 3-4 years ago? Don't remember. Yay for more completeness!

    Gridlock is awesome!

Yeah, I thought Film Forum was also the first NY cinema to show the Buenos Aires restoration - that's certainly where I saw it first - but I'm not at all disappointed to see it getting another crack at the moviegoing audience in the Big A.

Film Forum was also where I saw original subtitled Godzilla without the Raymond Burr edits! Much darker!

Don't know if you spotted this on NYT, but @nypl just posted about a little-known library that abuts a subway station: http://ow.ly/2XWko

I would protest that Human Nature/Family of Blood might be the best 10 episodes.

I love that you're packing "heals" for this trip - warding off potential injury LOL? Man, I could live for 6 months out of your suitcase, and I still probably wouldn't wear the evening dress, I just don't have that kind of life.

Blink is the best Ten episode - partly for the wonder of Carey Milligan and partly for the fact that Ten is hardly in it at all. I love Martha and Donna, but not a big Ten fan.

While definitely quite good, I'd still put "Blink", and eps 2, 3, 8-11 of Donna's season ahead of it.

I think Father Dougal McGuire as a homophobic cat made that episode for me.

Or anyway the collective LJ tag for crazy things that happen here is 'aboard the death star'.
