Dec. 5th, 2010 08:14 pmMany of you have small businesses, are authors, or otherwise produce stuff for sale.
This is a time of year when people buy stuff.
This is an opportunity to tell people about stuff they can buy that will put money in your pocket.
I will try, but do not know if I will be able to, make a post that compiles everything that people list in comments below via username and category of item. My goal for doing that is a week from tonight (Sunday).
To make this easier for me, and easier for people who browse the comments here, please comment with the following:
IN THE SUBJECT LINE: put the type of stuff you sell (i.e., books, jewelry, art, baked goods, soap, etc.)
IN THE BODY OF THE POST: tell us about your stuff. PLEASE just paste the URLs straight in -- LJ will convert them to HTML, and it will make my life much much easier when doing a compiling post.
Cool?
Cool.

I do wire-wrapped jewelry, resin art jewelry (including lovely sparkly faerie wings), and some PMC 99.9% sculpted recycled silver.
I work in sterling silver, fine silver, brass, and copper primarily, though I can do 14k gold-filled upon request. I love gemstones and often work with garnet, moonstone, and (my favorite!) labradorite.
Sihaya Designs releases both fan favorites as well as mythologically-inspired and seasonal collections. I will consider reserving items or doing payment plans for more expensive items, and I absolutely love custom orders.

Jewelry, Crochet, & Uber Potent Kitty Toys!
Date: 2010-12-06 04:43 am (UTC)I make fused glass jewelry, beaded gemstone jewelry, 100% cotton yarn crocheted fingerless gloves, and kitty toys with my own organic catnip/herb blend that friends have thoughtfully renamed "Kitty Crack." I have the smaller toys and a few big ones up on Etsy right now; and working on more of the bigger ones. Once they're done, I will probably list them over on Artfire. I am FreyasFire over there but I don't have anything listed in the store yet. Once I do, I'll repost with the URL. I'm hoping to eventually list all the catnip toys and crocheted items on Artfire and leave the jewelry on Etsy.
I also have a crocheted Cthulhu kitty/human toy in the pet toy section. It does not contain the catnip blend. I sold out of the ones that did. If you want one with catnip, PM me. :)
Running a winter charity project thru March; all the info is on the announcement page on Etsy.
Thanks!!

I make wire wrapped key jewelry, mostly pendants, decorated with watch gears and/or metal leaves, crystals, and other bits and pieces. I also make wire wrapped filigree, woven wire archways, and assorted other pieces of wire jewelry.
I work mainly in copper or enameled copper wire, including vintage bronze finish, tarnish resistant enameled silver plated copper, and bright colors, with niobium for ear wires.

Date: 2010-12-06 05:27 am (UTC)I have an Etsy shop where I sell bags and zipper pouches made from repurposed/recycled vintage character-themed sheets from the 1970s-1990s. Star Wars, Rainbow Brite, superheroes, you name it. I love finding a new use for these great old fabrics.

My husband and I create jewelry and curious figurines from polymer clay. We are a little spare around the edges, but there are about a dozen pendants and a couple very cute (no lie) Lovecraftian figurines to choose from right now. We ship only within the US for now (hopefully that will change soon!) via USPS Priority within three business days.
Many thanks to you,

Pottery
Date: 2010-12-06 02:42 pm (UTC)My style is organic and function-focused; my goal is to compliment the medium, not hide it. What you'll find in my shop has been fired in either a salt or gas kiln (both involving a heavy reduction atmosphere particularly friendly to blues, greens, and neutral shades), or Raku ware (a form of Japanese pottery developed in the late 16th century, but I use a westernized approach)--including using the unique and uncommon variant, horsehair raku (a method of decorating pottery through the application of horse hair and other dry carbonaceous material to the heated ware).
Although the shop is currently set at US postage, I am happy to ship overseas and will figure pricing for individual pieces as requested.

I can also make tiaras.
Thanks so much for doing this!
