  • Patty reports there is now See's chocolates in Columbus. I hope it's one where you can choose your mix and not just with the pre-packaged boxes.

  • New post on http://www.LettersFromTitan.com that's sort of about the book Kali and I are writing and also about DADT.

  • OMG, body in a suitcase, in my neighborhood! A bit much after an email from a friend last night (who may wish to remain nameless) reporting witnessing both a heart attack in a shop and then finding out there was a murder or suicide that caused a BIG commotion in the apartment building her family lives in.

  • The Year in Pictures.

  • Two embassies have been hit by bombs in Rome.

    Just heard out the body in a suitcase from my roommate. Back when I was apartment hunting I really wanted this place that I saw RIGHT ON THAT CORNER!

    I really like the new blog - that is one of LJ's weaknesses, that even if you heavily lock and/or filter your LJ, it still doesn't really feel like your own space (at least to me). Having a blog out there in the internet universe is like... well, it's like colonizing your own planet, isn't it? It's completely your space, your territory, your identity.

    I used to feel like I had branding and tone control here. And I really don't. The new space feels SO much better.

    Oh, wow! I live in Cleveland, and See's were always a treat we'd get when we visited my grandparents in CA. Good to hear there's one in-state now!
